PGCIL, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India, one of the largest transmission utilities in the World, released a notification (Advt. No. CC/05/2015) for the recruitment of Executive Trainees through GATE 2016. Interested candidates can apply before 29th January, 2016. More details about eligibility criteria with respect to prescribed educational qualifications, percentage of marks, age etc. and the procedure for application are mentioned below:

Pay Scale: Rs. 24,900 – Rs. 50,500
Number of Posts: Number of vacancies and reservation shall be indicated in the notification to be published on PGCIL website before commencement of online registration.

• Civil Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates should have passed bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology in the above mentioned disciplines with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Candidates currently in final year/semester of their engineering degree may also apply.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 31.12.2015. Reservation/Relaxation/Concession for SC/ST is as per government rules.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of GATE 2016, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
