| Punjab Police has released a recruitment notification for 2,034 posts of Constable and Sub Inspector. The last date for registration of online applications is 08/03/2023. | Eligibility Criteria Required For Constable: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised Education Board/University. In case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation. |
| Eligibility Criteria Required For Sub Inspector (SI): Candidates must have passed Graduation (Bachelor's Degree) from a recognised university, or its equivalent qualification. |
| Age Limit : 18 to 28 years as on 1st January, 2023 |
| Age Relaxation : As per Govt. rules. |
| Application Fee: General and OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 1,100, Ex-Serviceman (ESM) of Punjab/Lineal Descendants of ESM have to pay Rs. 500, and SC/ST of all States and BC of Punjab State only & EWS candidates have to pay Rs. 600. |
| Selection Process: Stage-I will consist of two Computer-based, Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type Papers viz. Paper-I and Paper-II, of which Paper-II shall be qualifying in nature. Stage-II will consist of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST). Both Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature. Stage-III will consist of Document Scrutiny. |
| How to Apply: Eligible candidates would be first required to fill the online registration form. Candidates shall be required to fill in 15 district preferences to which the candidate would want to be allocated in case of final selection. Candidates should fill all details and upload scanned copies of requisite documents. |
