National Talent Search Examination 2015-16

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has published the NTSE Application Form 2015 for conducting a scholarship exam for students studying in Class X. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for NTSE exam.
Scholarship Details:
• For Class XI and XII students: Rs. 1250
• For Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) students: Rs. 2000
• For Ph.D students: The scholarship will be based on UGC norms.
• 15% scholarship will be reserved for SC students, 7.5% for ST students and 3% for Physically Challenged students.
Eligibility Criteria:
• The students must be studying in Class X of recognised schools.
• The students can also appear in Stage I exam organised by States/UT in which their schools are located.
• No domicile restriction is there.
Examination Pattern:
1. Stage I Examination at the State/UT' level will comprise of two parts, namely
(a) Mental Ability Test (MAT)
(b) Language Test (LT) and
(c) Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
2. The pattern of Stage II is given below:

Selection Process:For Stage-1, candidates will be selected by State/UT and the qualified students can attend Stage-2 exam conducted by NCERT.
Application Fee:
Stage-1: Stage-1: Students can get the fee details in state liaison officers (los).
Stage-2: NCERT will not charge any fee for this examination.

Examination in Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Andaman and Nicobar Islands 7th November,2015
Examination in All other States and Union Territories 8th November, 2015
Stage-II (National) Examination in All States and Union Territories 8th May, 2016
How to Apply:
• Read the instructions carefully before filling the application.
• Enter the required details.
• SC/ST/PH should attach Caste/Disability Certificate with the application.
• The completely filled application should be signed by the Principal of the corresponding school. The filled application should send to the respective State Liaison Office.
• No application should be sent to the NCERT address.
