| Age Limit for Principal:- Not exceeding 50 years |
| Age Limit for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):- Not exceeding 40 years |
| Age Limit for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):- Not exceeding 35 years |
| Age Limit for Miscellaneous Category of Teacher:- Not exceeding 35 years |
| Educational Qualification Required For Principal:- The applicant must have passed Master's Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate preferably B.Ed. or equivalent teaching degree. The candidate should also have at least 15 years' combined regular service as PGT. |
| For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):- The applicant must have passed Master's Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects: English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, History, Geography, Commerce and Biology. |
| For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):- The applicant must have passed Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subjects in all three years of the degree course. Subjects: Maths, Science, Social Sciences, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bodo, Garo, Gujarati, Kannada, Khasi, Malayalam, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. |
| Selection Process: The selection will be done on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interaction/Interview. |
| Application Fees: For Principal ₹2000/-, For PGTs ₹1800/-, and For TGTs & Miscellaneous Category Teachers ₹1500/. No fee for SC/ST/PH Category Candidates. Fee should be paid through Online Payment mode only. |
| How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply online through NVS official website (www.navodaya.gov.in). The candidates should fill all details including Name, Personal Email ID, Address, Qualification and Experience, etc. The candidates are required to upload Self-attested copies of certificates in support of Age, Qualification, Experience, Caste, Non Creamy Layer, Physical disability & Economically Weaker Section (EWS), as applicable. |
