The MICAT 2013 will be held on 3 March 2013 at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. The test is conducted by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad.
MICAT is the written examination for admission to MICA's two-year (full time) residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Communications) i.e. PGDM (C) for the 2013-15 academic batch that would commence in June 2013.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate requires a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks, or an equivalent qualification in any discipline, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The candidate can apply even if he/she is appearing for final examinations for a Bachelor's degree.
Dates to remember regarding MICAT 2013:
Online registration for MICAT starts on 12th September, 2012.
Registration for MICAT closes on 29th January 2013.
Last date for receipt for completed application forms 1st February, 2013.
MICAT call letters will be issued in February 2013.
Results will be declared in April 2013.
The session begins in the last week of June.
Test pattern
The quantitative and Verbal sections from CAT/XAT/GMAT will be given 20% weightage each. The remaining weightage would be based on MICAT.
The exam pattern of MICAT 2013 is almost similar to MICAT 2012.
