| The Indian Navy Delhi Wing has invited applications from all qualified and eligible candidates who wish to get selected in the post of Sailors (Sports Quota). The candidates having required eligibility and experience should submit their applications in prescribed formats latest by 14th February, 2015. | Eligibility Criteria | ||
| The applicants should have the minimum specified educational qualification as mentioned below: • For Direct Entry Petty Officers: Applicants should be at least intermediate/Class 12th passed in any stream from a recognised board of India. In addition to this, candidates must also have sports proficiency and should have represented a university at the national levels under junior or senior position or should have stood 3rd in National (juniors) or 3rd in Inter University meets and 6th in the Nationals (seniors). • SSR (Senior Secondary Recruitment): Intermediate/Class 12th passed in any stream or any other equivalent examination along with necessary sports proficiency and representation at the state/national level. • MR (Matric Recruits): Matriculation or Class 10th passed along with necessary sports proficiency and representation at the state/national levels and Inter University tournaments. Age Boundation The age of all participating candidates will be restricted to the following to get selected in the posts mentioned: 17 - 22 years for Direct Entry Petty Officers or candidates born between any date from 1st February, 1994 to 31st January, 1998 (both dates inclusive) and 17 - 21 years for SSR/MR or candidates should be born between 1st April, 1994 and 31st March, 1998. |

| Mode of Selection | ||
| Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of sports trials scheduled to be conducted at the designated naval centres only. This will be followed by medical examination scheduled to be held at INS Hamla, Mumbai for all shortlisted candidates only. | ||
