Chankya National Law University, Patna has released a notification for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2017 for admissions to UG, PG and Integrated law courses. Interested and eligible candidate may apply online from 01-01-2017 to 31-03-2017.
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an All India Entrance Examination conducted, on rotation, by the seventeen National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes mentioned below:
• B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
• B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.)
• B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
• B.S.W. LL.B. (Hons.)
• B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.)
• L.L.M.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT 2016 Exam:
Educational Qualification:

For Undergraduate Courses: 10+2 or its equivalent certificate from a recognised board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST category candidates)

For Postgraduate Courses: LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST category candidates)

Note: Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, 2017 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2017 online examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 20 years, for this examination, for UG courses.
Application Fee: Processing Charges for online application, for CLAT-2017, for UR/OBC/SAP candidates are Rs. 4000 and those for SC/ST candidates are Rs. 3500.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through CLAT official website “www.clat.ac.in” from 01-01-2017 to 31-03-2017. No other mode of submitting the application would be entertained.
Important Dates:
• Starting date for submission of online application form: 1st January, 2017 (Sunday)
• Last date for submission of filled-in online application form: 31st March, 2017 (Friday)
• Download of Admit Cards/Hall Tickets: From 20th April, 2017 (Thursday)
• Date of CLAT 2017 Online examination for UG and PG: 14th May, 2017 (Sunday)
