Common Law Admission Test - CLAT 2014

Common Law Admission Test is National Level entrance examination conducted for admission in graduate and post graduate programs in fourteen NLUs. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the CLAT 2014 before 31st March 2014 15th April, 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:
For under graduate courses: Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognised board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate and should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2014 (22 years in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates)*.
* Subject to state reservation at the University concerned.
For post graduate courses: LL.B/B. L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.
The candidates who are appearing or have appeared in the qualifying degree examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.
Application Fee:
The fees to be remitted while submitting the Online Application Form of CLAT-2014 for General/OBC/PWD and other category candidates is Rs. 4000/- (for SC and ST category candidates it is Rs. 3500/-), excluding the bank charges.
How to Apply:
Candidate can apply online by filling basic details, address details, uploading necessary documents and making payment.

Documents to be uploaded during registration:
  1. The scanned attested photocopies of the documents to be uploaded in the PDF format (or as specified) by all the candidates are:
    1. Birth Certificate
    2. Standard X Marksheet
    3. Qualifying Examination Marksheet/Certificate such as 10+2 or its equivalent examination certificate from a recognized Board (for UG Courses).
    4. Qualifying Examination Marksheet/Certificate such as LL.B. or its equivalent examination certificate from a recognized University (for PG Courses).
    5. Passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) [JPG Format]
    6. Signature of candidate [JPG Format]
    7. Signature of parent/guardian [JPG Format]
  2. If candidate is of reserved category of disable, then S/he must also have to submit his certificate for the same.
