| Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway, Mumbai has released a recruitment notification for 2422 posts of Act Apprentices. | Job Location: Mumbai, Bhusawal, Nagpur, Solapur, Pune |
| Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10th class (Matriculation) examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognised board. Candidates must also have National Trade Certificate (NTC) in notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training. |
| Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 100/- for General/OBC category candidates. The fee should be paid online through payment gateway using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking/SBI Challan etc. |
| Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 15 to 24 years as on 17 January, 2012. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates. |
| Age relaxation: 05 years for SEBC/SC/ST, Female and Ex-Servicemen and 10 years for PWD. |
| Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of Merit List. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI. Verification of documents is also required. |
| How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply Online through official website of RRC Central Railway (www.rrccr.com). Candidates must have Aadhar Card. At the time of registration, candidates have to fill the 12 digit Aadhar Card number. Candidates have to upload their color photograph and other documents. |
