| Education Qualification:- For Sub Inspector (Master) :- The applicants must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised Board or University and should have Second Class Master Certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department. |
| For Sub Inspector (Engine Driver) :- The applicants must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised Board or University and should have First Class Engine Driver Certificate issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department. |
| For Sub Inspector (Workshop):- The applicants must have passed Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent or 03 years Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering from a recognised University or Institution. |
| For Head Constable (Master):- The applicants must have passed Matriculation from a recognised Board or equivalent and should have Serang Certificate. |
| For Head Constable (Engine Driver):- The applicants must have passed Matriculation from a recognised Board or equivalent and should have 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate. |
| For Head Constable (Workshop):- The applicants must have passed Matriculation from a recognised Board or equivalent and Industrial Training Institute (ITI)/Diploma in respective trade (i.e. Motor Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine) Machinist/Carpentry/Electrician/Air conditioner Technician/ Electronics and Plumbing) from a recognised Institution. |
| Selection Process: The selection will be made on the basis of Written Examination and Documentation, Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test and Medical Examination. |
| Application Fees: The application fees is ₹ 200/- For Group – 'B' posts and pay ₹ 100/- For Group – 'C' posts. The fee can be paid through any of the prescribed digital modes i.e. Netbanking/UPI/Credit Card/Debit Card/Wallet etc. The fee is exempted for candidates belonging to SC, ST, BSF and Ex-servicemen. |
