"I am Arshdeep Kaur. I took my test in IELTS General on 17th August, 2019 and the venue was Radisson Hotel, Ludhiana. I booked my test under British Council. The overall exam experience was not much satisfactory as it did not go as per my expectations. I faced some technical issues during the recording in the listening module. The recording stopped at two places and it made me anxious. Moreover, the answers were not directly given in the recording. They were bit tricky and I had to write them using one or two words only.The speaking was easy as I had to speak for only a minute in the cue-card round.Writing: In Writing, the topics were -Task 1: Your friend’s parents are going to visit your city. Write a letter to your friend suggesting him places his/her parents can visit and also invite them to your place.Task 2: Some people think that natural abilities are required to become successful in sports. Others believe that hard work and practice are more important. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.The passages in reading were easy to understand, which made it easy for me to complete the task on time.."
