With the advent of technology, it is one major debated topic that whether university students should attend the classes or it should be discretional? According to my opinion, university students should attend the classes. This opinion is due to various reasons.
Firstly, teachers simplify the subject with the skill they acquire with their experience. Teachers can help the students to make them understand their weak points and boost them up to improvise on it. Adding on to the top, teachers also help them to implement the same. Nonetheless, they further channelize the mind of the students. For example, to clear my English proficiency test, I preferred classes rather than online mock test. Attending classes enabled me to understand the importance of taking notes, which I would have easily ignored. Further, it maintained my regularity.
Secondly, classes are house of group discussion. In the modern era, it is very important to understand and respond correctly to the queries of people. Classes increase the self-confidence which can’t be improved by reading texts. This further helps to understand different opinions on the same platform which is also time-saving. It also helps to co-operate and co-ordinate with the colleagues. It also enables the student to respect opinions of other person. Thus, it increases moral values as well.
Knowledge is not that what we get from books, it is the added skill. In conclusion, I want to state that attending classes are beneficial to students as it adds skill of mass communicator which can’t be attained by reading texts. It increases the personality development of the students as well as boosts confidence in them. It also makes them disciplined. Therefore, attending classes should not be optional.
