The topic is based on pictorial photography . According to the instructor in the lecture it is the most desired context and a very interesting subject .A-lot of things have been changed from nineteenth century till now . Pictorialists were those photographers who stove to give their photographs or pictures a resemblance to like a painting. In Now- days pictorial photography is that stands on their own as valuable work of art, those do not imitate paintings .
The instructor summarized various points in the lecture that a successful composition makes a subject more interesting like a shot of beautiful children sitting on a bench .So , many elements are responsible while getting a perfect picture .Those elements are as below:-
1) Balance:- Balance is very important element like there should be a similar light concept for a better photography.
2) Placement:- It is not necessary that middle placement is inferred to be best placement it could be depend on scenario that what you want to show in your photography left or right section can also depict them correctly.
3)Color:- Color play an important role in every moment like effect of warm and cool colors . Warm colors like red and cool colors like blue and green.There should be proper balance of colors .
4)Detailing :- Balancing all the detail make a picture perfect composition . For example:- A white house stands on a cliff with birds , sky ,waving , and space all were combined to create a mood so detailing and placing of each is very important.
These rules were not established by a great masters, who understood and applied composition instinctively . It was an art teacher who formulated all these rules after examining the work of great painters . These are good guidelines for the beginners who want to develop their carrier as a photographer .
