CSAT 2014 Prelims Cutoff and Analysis

CSAT Prelims 2014 Paper I had 100 questions from Geography, Ecology, Environment, History, Art, Culture, Current Affairs etc. The difficulty level ranged from moderate to Difficult. CSAT Prelims 2014 Paper II had 80 questions in all. Only 74 will be considered for evaluation which carried a total of 185 marks. The marking scheme was +2.5 for every correct answer and -0.833 for every incorrect attempt. The comprehension section had 26 questions from 8 passages. Quant section had 18 questions from Numbers, Ratio, Equations, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Interest, Time and Distance, Data interpretation etc. Analytical Ability and Logical reasoning had 30 questions from topics like Missing Numbers, Directions, Seating Arrangement, Blood relations, Clocks, Calendars etc. Overall this paper was tougher compared to last year.
