All Students - I've gone through all of the current essays. Some as you have seen I've made comments, but I want to really stress this aspect. YOur essays should start with an introductory paragraph. This is where you introduce the topic, your viewpoint on it and state the reasons (your points) for your position or view point for independent wriiting.

 

Your next paragraphs (the body paragraphs) will talk about each point. YOu want to thoroughly explain and or describe each point and emphasis how they are important.

Finally, you will make your conclusion. This is a summation of all the points and restatement of your main idea.

 

All of the essays are fairly okay in the above, but pay special attention to how you construct your essay. Don't mix explaining details in your introductory paragraph. Work on refining these. 

 

Don't forget to work on grammar, spelling and punctuation. Too many mistakes in this regard WILL affect your score. Remember, we are all working towards the highest score possible. By working and refining your writing, you will attain high scores.
