The following essay is on the topic of growth of human population and the food supplies.I compares and contrasts the theory

Thomas Malthaus to what actually happened. The Malthusian theary suggested that the fhuman population grows at geometric rate

and the food production increases at arithmetic rate.At this rate thier would come a time when the increase in p[opulation

would outgrow the increases in food production

As stated earlier that the Malthusian theory suggested that the growth in human population is in geometric terms i.e. if all

the offsprings survive the human population would double with each generation. The theory also suggested that poverty and

human sufferings are unavoidable because the population increases faster than then increase means of subistence. The rapid

growth would lead to competition and a constant struggle for survival and existence.other negative checks on population are

famine, disease and war .however despite the use of careful staistical data Thomnas Malthaus did not use important factors

like improvement in technology and birth control etc.His theory influenced a class of neo-Malthusian economists in the 1970's

who however later were ridiculed by the economists and his theory was considered dismal science. He stated that food production

will not increase instead the foodn production per capita will decrease with increase in population, therby limiting population

growth but the statistics prove that he was wrong. In the century after Malthus the countries of north America and europe witnessed

great increse int overall food productin, real wages and standard of living. Also with the increase in the population the

globe shrinks basically becoming half the size each time, however this again was stated without considering the factors like

improvemnet in technology.furthermore with the improvement in education and healthn se4rvices like birth control there has been

a control in the rate of population in the wwstern country

Therfore it can be easily stated that though the Malthusian thoery was good but it was formed taking into consideration the

factors like improvemnet in tecnology and health facilities.Hence the Malthusian theory was wrong in the prediction of growth

of human population and increase in merans of subistence

Aditya, this is hard to read to formatting, grammar and spelling errors. Your introductory paragraph needs to be written much clearer and more specifically.
