The world around us is full of knowledge, as everyday we come across something new which helps to enhance our knowledge. We can increase our knowledge by reading various types of books and as well as by experiencing new things. The knowledge we get from experiences can be long lasting as compared to reading books. But this is also a fact that not everything can be learned from experiences like if we want to know about history, politics, some scientific discoveries we have to go for books. It is not feasible to experience each and everything but there is a whole pool of books based on each and every topic around the world.>Books play an important part in our student life. The bag of a student is always full of books from his/her first standard to his/her college life. There are books on every topic like science, history, politics, maths, so the students are given these books according to their knowledge, and as they are progressing from their first standard to high school and then all the way to their college or university level, the level and structure of these books keep on changing. And in these years of a student life, he/she also came across various life experiences which can be more helpful in providing knowledge. Like if someone has to remember about some historical place so it can be long lasting affect if he/she visit that place instead of just craming it through the books.>I think that the knowledge we get from experiences is way more effective than we get from reading the books. As in engineering I read various books by some great scientists and has also conducted various experiments and practical work. But as far as i can say, the things i learned from conducting experiments and practicals are more helpful to increase my knowledge as compared to the books. Here i am not saying that we can get all the knowledge from experiences and should not read books but should not solely depend on either experience or books.>Books are an important part of our daily life like we can also gain knowledge and experience from various novels both fiction and non-fiction. Books can also change the way of our thinking and living e.g. the biographies based on great leaders or social workers like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr. can give us many life experiences which we can't experience in our daily life. There is also an increase in knowledge as we can learn about many historical events.>So for the conclusion i can say that any type of knowledge we can get will benefit us irrespective of the way we get it. It can be either from the books or the experiences. Reading books is also a necessity, we can't show our back to it and it's also a fun. But the daily life experiences can add more to our knowledge and also can be long lasting than the books.
