Rupandeep. Thomas Malthus was an english economist ,sociologist and pioneer in modern population study.He wrote a Book called 'An Essay on the Principles of Population". In his book he clearly mentioned about the threat to the future population. He was very firm about two things Poverty and suffering cannot be ignored in coming years. People will face the most difficult time of their lives. There will be shortage of food suppply. Population was growing more and more. Population will double every genration. But here on condraticting on what he wrote in his book was that he didnot kept the future advancement technology in his mind. he clearly mentioned about shortage of food supply. which we can clearly see that it didnot happen at all. Though he was right about the Increasing population.. But he was wrong explaining the shortage of food supply ..

Rupandeep, if I remember the question correctly, it was to summarize the points from the lecture and then discuss how they contradict with the points made in the reading. You've done the reverse of this. This overall is not a bad attempt. There are very few errors in terms of words used incorrectly and some grammatical errors. This also seems to be lacking in content. Had you Summarized the lecture in the audio first and then discussed how they contradicted with the points in the reading, this would have been a good essay
