Provision for depreciation shown in trial balance is the Accumulated depreciation on respective asset of previous year. it is shown as deduction in the balance sheet or shown as a liability after adding current year depreciation. for detail follow me u can also follow my blog

It should be shown in liabilities side of balance sheet.

It can be either shown as liability in balance sheet or to be deducted from fixed assets.

Credit

Liability side in balance sheet....... its a non cash item.......
