Shiv kumar singh asks : molecular orbital theory (MO theory) is a method for determining molecular structure in which electrons are not assigned to individual bonds between atoms, but are treated as moving under the influence of the nuclei in the whole molecule. In this theory, each molecule has a set of molecular orbitals, in which it is assumed that the molecular orbital wave function ψf may be written as a simple weighted sum of the n constituent atomic orbitals χi.Molecular orbital (MO) theory uses a linear combination of atomic orbitals to form molecular orbitals which cover the whole molecule. These are often divided into bonding orbitals, anti-bonding orbitals, and non-bonding orbitals.

Parth sarthi asks : A number when divided by a divisor left remainder 23. When twice the number was divided by the same divisor, remainder was 11. Find the divisor. In the explanation.it is given 2*23-11=35. but here in the question,it is said,When twice the number was divided by the same divisor, remainder was 11,and not the twice of the previous remainder. please help me out,i am not clear with the explanation.

Let's say the no is x, divisor is p First condition x= np + 23 2nd Condition 2x=mp + 11 Mulitply (1) by 2 and subtract (m-2n)p= 35 P is integer and m-2n is integer and also p>23 Considering all conditions, we get p= 35 Note: If you double the number, remainder should be doubled ( if 2 times of remainder is more than divisor)..ie. (2 x 23=46), but given is 11. So divisor is less than 46 and difference ( 2x23-11) should be divisible by Divisor.

17^1 when divided by 15, the remainder is 2 17^2 when divided by 15, the remainder is 4 17^3 when divided by 15, the remainder is 8 17^4 when divided by 15, the remainder is 1. So the cyclicity is 4. So if 17^17 when divided by 15, the remainder will be 2
