The entire syllabi of a grade level have been divided scientifically into units, such that each unit can be covered in a 1.5 hour class. The units are comprehensive and include exercises to be discussed in the classroom. The exercises would provide real time information to the teacher, about the understanding gained by the students, from what he has taught in the class. The exercises would also help students remember and absorb the concepts better. The notes are aligned to the curriculum prescribed by CBSE, and NCERT textbooks. However, certain topics, which are considered important from competitive examination point of view, are covered in greater depth and detail. |

Scan Test is a 30 minutes, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) -format, summative test, which will identify the weak areas in a student. The scan test would check the skill areas that correspond to a single unit. The teacher may use his judgment to take up remedial measures to improve the student's understanding. If the Centre Coordinator finds that most of the students did not score well in a particular topic then he/she would schedule a remedial class for the whole group. |

At the end of each chapter, which may comprise of 2-3 units, a subjective test of the whole chapter is conducted. The pass percentage in the chapter wise test is 80%. If a student does not score 80% marks in a chapter, he/she is required to take the exam again. No student shall be admitted to the
supporting courses without clearing all chapter wise tests. The re-test is to be scheduled and managed by the Centre Coordinator and the subject teacher at a convenient date. |
