This reply might be a bit late coz I have offline for some time due to technical errors.
Regarding ur question, I m afraid there isn\'t any specific vocabulary book that you can follow. From ur query I presume that u need to improve ur general English vocabulary. For that u can try the Oxford or Cambridge vocabulary practice books.
I would have been more than happy to send u a soft copy if I had one!!!
