About NAT
NAT is an All India Level Common Entrance Test administered under the aegis of SRDE's Association of Higher Education Institutions(SAHEI), Delhi. The Entrance Test is available for students at the Under Graduate (NAT-UG) and the Post Graduate (NAT-PG) levels for fulfilling the requirements of different Higher Education Institutions on a common platform and thereby enabling access to various Professional, Vocational, Management and Allied programmes like BBA, BCA etc. at the UG and MBA, PGDM etc. at the PG levels in these Institutions.
The NAT Bulletin carries the list of Institutions which accept NAT scores for admission into their UG and /or PG programmes.The NAT system facilitates itself as a Common Entrance Test for Institutions who wish to screen them on the basis of NAT Test.
The NAT Test is a valid, objective, transparent and secure testing system conducted in the paper-pencil format each year for different Higher Education Institutions. NAT (Paper-pencil mode) was first held in 2005. NAT Online has also being commenced from the year 2010 on round the year basis for facilitating students and Institutions through 30 test centres available across the country. The cost and other characteristics of the test have been kept identical except that the NAT Online test shall be conducted through Computer-based mechanism as against OMR format in paper-pencil system.
The NAT scores shall be acceptable to the Institutions who have registered with SAHEI for the particular year as detailed inthe NAT bulletin for the respective year. The applicant scores will be supplied to the respective opted-participating institutions. The students may be asked by the concerned Institution to appear for counseling, group discussion etc. to be fully satisfied of his or her potential for the programme concerned before actually offering admission.

How to Apply
- The candidates may procure the NAT Information Bulletin for Rs. 650 only and should fill up the enclosed OMR Registration form for NAT-UG or NAT-PG as the case may be. Please ensure that relevant option of NAT-UG or NAT-PG as case may be is properly filled in. In case option is not filled, the form will be summarily rejected.
- The specimen Registration Form for NAT duly filled in with the data of a specimen candidate is enclosed in the NAT form. Please read it carefully before filling in the actual Registration Form. Please send the filled-in Registration form at an early date, so that it reaches the NAT's office at SAHEI, A-1/4, Sector-8, Rohini, Delhi-110085.
- The completed Registration form can be mailed by affixing necessary postal stamps by ordinary post or by any other mode /manner (Speed Post, Registered Post, Courier Mail) etc.
- Along with the Registration Form, no certificate or document should be sent. The Registration Form should not be stapled, wrinkled or damaged in any manner. On receipt of the Registration Form the Admit Card (with details of Roll No., address of the test venue, etc.) will be uploaded on the website www.natindia.com - 7 days prior to the date of the test. no separate Hall tickets shall be issued.
- Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the Registration Form.
- In case you do not find / cannot download the admit card by the seventh day before the test date on www.natindia.com you should immediately contact the SAHEI Office in New Delhi to check whether your Registration form was received by SAHEI office at Delhi. Still in case of any problem regarding the admit card, you may follow the instructions on the website regarding appearing in the test and/or obtaining Duplicate admit card.You must get your admit card in order to appear for the test. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to appear for the test.
- Change of Test Center is not allowed.
