Vellore Institute of Technology offers a variety of courses for engineering, science and management students and is conducting VITEEE 2013 in India and in two cities abroad from 15 April to 30 April 2013.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidates born on or after 7 January 1991 are eligible to apply for the VITEEE 2013. They should have studied in the regular, full-time, formal stream at school.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB)
A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with 50 percent average marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) for candidates belonging to SC/ST, students from Jammu & Kashmir and from the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical engineering and Biotechnology programs. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics candidates are eligible for all 14 B.Tech. programs.
Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in 2013 are also eligible to apply.

The candidate has to give cash payment of Rs. 950/- from the designated branches of post offices. To view the list of post offices, click on http://www.vit.ac.in/admissions/viteee2013/avail_offline.asp

The candidate has to send a demand draft for Rs 950/- drawn in favour of VIT University payable at Vellore to the Director - UG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore with a request letter containing the full address of the applicant and mobile number.
OR
The candidate has to present a demand draft for Rs 950/- in person at VIT University, Vellore at the Vellore campus, Chennai campus or Chennai city office. The addresses are given below:
