Age Limit:
There is no upper or lower age limit of taking this exam.


Educational Qualification:
Candidate should have passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and having studied mathematics or statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination

  1. The candidates who have passed BCA, BCS, B.Sc. in CS/IT degree courses are not required to fulfill the requirement of having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination and such candidates shall be eligible for first Year/Second Year of three-year Full Time Post Graduate Degree Course in MCA.
  2. For eligibility criteria for admission, steps in the entire process of CET, Document Verification, Centralized Admission Process, Online Reporting etc., for securing admission against the Maharashtra seats, OMS seats, Minority seats, Institute level seats, Against CAP Vacancies and seats for NRI/ Foreign National / Foreign Students / PIO / Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries kindly refer online information brochure available for downloading / Printing on website.

Availability of MAH-MCA-CET 2013 Application Kit:
Application Kit for the aspiring candidates will be available at the select Axis Bank Branches
The CET that will be conducted in pursuance of this advertisement is subject to the rules and regulations set out in this information brochure. The further admission process, especially in respect of Private Unaided Institutes will be in terms of the clarification read with aforesaid rules and regulations.


Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid at the identified Axis Bank Branches, in cash only, through Pay-in-Slip. The candidate can also do online payment of the fees by Internet Payment, Credit Card / Debit Card Payment gateway for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be permitted.


Submission and Confirmation of Online Application Form:
 
  1. Candidates can submit and confirm the Online Application form through the web site www.dte.org.in/mca2013
  2. For the submission and confirmation of the online Application Form, the candidates are required to use the Application ID and Password provided in the Application Kit. Candidates are also required to upload his/her photo with signature as per the instructions given in the Application Kit. Candidates are advised to preserve the Application Kit carefully and not to disclose the Application ID & Password to others to avoid impersonation.
  3. In order to take the printout of the Online submitted Application form and the printout of the Hall Ticket for the CET, it is mandatory for all the candidates to confirm the Online submitted Application form and such confirmed applications only will be considered valid for further processing.
  4. Applications sent by Post/Courier etc. to ARCs/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be done with the candidates.
  5. It should be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at this stage. Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document verification stage as per the notified schedule.

Late Submission & Confirmation of Online Application Form :
 

The candidates, who have failed to procure Application Kit, submit & confirm the online Application form on or before 13th March 2013 will be able to procure, submit & confirm the Online Application form by paying Additional Late Fees of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. One Thousands Only) in cash only on 14th & 15th March, 2013 (between 11 AM- 5 PM) at Sydenham Institute of Management Studies Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE), B-Road, Near Church gate Station, Church gate, Mumbai-400020
