Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management

Applications are invited for admission along with self attested copies of certificates for the followingTrade Diploma of one and a half year duration:

1. FOOD PRODUCTION
2. BAKERY & CONFECTIONERY
3. FRONT OFFICE OPERATIONS
4. FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE
5. HOUSE KEEPING OPERATIONS

The minimum qualification for admission is 10+2 with English (pass).


Age limitupto 22 years for general category and 25 years for SC/ST Category as on 01.08.2010.

Prospectus containing application form and other details are available on payment of Rs.250/- at the Institute counter and through book post by sending Bank Draft of Rs.300/- in thename of Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management payable at Chandigarhstating full address in capital letters on the counterfoil/back.

Candidate must attach a Demand Draft of Rs.250/- alongwith the downloadedform from the Website, failing which their candidature will not be considered.

The admission will be on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination marks.The merit list will be displayed on the basis of 10+2 marks on theInstitute Notice Board on 05.07.2010and also be available on the web site www.cihmct.com .

The counselling of the candidates for allotment of seats on basis of merit list will be held as under:-

09.07.2010 –All candidates of SC/ST/PH. - 9.30am onward

12.07.2010 –1 to 100 rank (General Category) - 9.30am onward

13.07.2010 –101 rank onwards (General Category) - 9.30am onward

In case of selection, fee will have to be deposited at once, failing which seats will be given to the candidates next on the merit list. The second counselling to fill up the vacant seats, if any, will be held on 23.07.2010.
