A cylinder, which has a diameter of 27 units and a height of 30 units, contains two lead spheres of radii 6 units and 9 units with the larger sphere placed on the bottom of the cylinder as shown. Water is poured into the cylinder so that it just covers both the spheres. The volume of water required is

3672π cubic units
3660π cubic units
3375π cubic units
3114π cubic units
3044π cubic units

Let A and B be two solid spheres such that the surface area of B is 300% higher than the surface area of A. The volume of A is found to be k% lower than the volume of B. The value of k must be

"If the inner volume of the hollow sphere" should say that it is hollow volume and not total volume

There is a cube of edge length 2. A sphere of radius 1 is drawn with a corner of this cube as its centre. Similarly, identical spheres drawn at the rest of the corners of the cube. What will be the radius of the largest sphere that can be centred within the cube which touches externally each of the remaining spheres in at most one point?

A cylindrical container, whose diameter is 12 centimeters and height 15 centimeters, is filled with ice cream. The whole ice cream is distributed among 10 children in equal cones having hemispherical tops. If the height of the conical portion is twice the diameter of its base, find the diameter of the ice cream cone.
