LIGHT is of dual nature....both wave nature and partical nature .particles cant pass through them..... .sound waves can pass because they have only wave nature.....

ANSWER IS -r/x.... the focal length of the combination is i/F = -2/fw -2/r.. find out 1/fw ( focal length of the water surface ) and then put the values.. in the above case v=u... on the left side of the mirror ..
