The solution of 3x + 5 < 2x - 1; 5 (x - 1) + 3 < x + 2; and 5x + 10 > x - 18 is

 
x < - 6
- 7 < x < - 6
- 6 < x < 1
- 7 < x < - 1
- 7 < x < 1

According to me the answer is -7< x < 1. Can anyone explain why it is -7< x < -6.

Hi, if we say 24hrs a day...how can that be possible...if we say 24hrs on Saturday and Sunday, that is fine...as a day and a night makes it 24 hours, so calling 24 hours a day does not makes sense...hope you got it....refer the explanation line # 2 above. Thanks
