Hi
I suppose the query pertains to CAT para completion - text missing. The statement deleted could be at the beginning of the paragraph, at the end or somewhere in between. However, the strategy for all the three format remains essentially the same, i.e.
1. First and foremost, the missing text ought to connect with the main
thrust of the argument.
2. Then and then only should one look for the connection with the preceding/succeeding statements.
Students invariably get trapped with the second, omitting the first. While many options will connect with (2), only one or two will connect with (1).
