THE ANSWER IS (b) because the derivative of |x| is ( |x| divided by x) so if u solve the above expression u get |2|/2 which is equal to 1..........better graph the function of ( |x| divided by x) for a better understanding............the value is always 1 on the real axis for all +numbers, its always -1 for all -ve numbers......discontinuous at 0........
