As you are keen to know i can tell you, there are different branches that u know but between CSE and IT the main diffrence is, CSE deals with the papers of hardware and software both but IT specialise  only in the field of software.

Various branches as per my information are: 1.Computers engg 2.IT engg. 3.Electronics and Communication engg 4.Electronics and Instrumentation engg 5.Mechanical engg 6.Biotec engg 7.Electrical engg .........and many more. The main difference between comp n IT engg is basically....In comp engg. more focus is being laid on hardware knowledge n computer architecture,while in case of IT engg software is of main importance,along with more programming being focussed.
