I'm having a party next weekend.- Direct Speech He said he was having a party the next weekend. Indirect Speech I'm staying here until next week.- Direct Speech He said he was staying there until the following week.- Indirect Speech I just want to know in the above two sentences, when u change the sentences in indirect speech from direct speech, does it not change the meaning of the sentences when u use them in a general conversation. becoz it changes the tenses from present to past which sound a bit wierd to the person listening it.
