B-School Admission Virtual Fair by TCYonline

Posted by TCYonline.com on January 26, 2012

B-School Admission Virtual Fair is being organised by TCYonline.com from 27th-31st January and will feature some of the best B-Schools from across India. The virtual fair will remain live 24 hours a day. The participating B-Schools have the option of staffing their virtual booths at the own convenience and from the comfort of their own desks.

Because the internet is moving us towards a seamless world, and because physically attending a fair requires an investment in terms of time and effort, a virtual fair is the best platform for both the educational institutions and the students. Because of geographical constraints, a physical fair does not get participation from all over the country. With a virtual fair, that limitation is effectively removed. In the upcoming B-School Admission Virtual Fair being organized by TCYonline.com, students will be able to browse information on several institutions on one platform. They will also be able to chat with the experts, watch videos about the participating institutions, read about the institutes, find out the fee structure, take a look at the placement reports, and submit their documents online for evaluation and for spot admission offers. The students will also be able to see the various streams of MBA being offered by the various institutes.

The B-School Admission Virtual Fair will also provide the participating institutes a platform to evaluate students from all over the country and hand-pick candidates according to their standards and requirements. Some of the top B-Schools in India, like TAPMI, Alliance University, IFIM, RIMS, IIMT, SOIL, Jindal Global Business School, Jaipuria Institute of Management and other reputed B-Schools will be participating in the fair. Mukta Gogia, General Manager, TCYonline.com, talking about the fair said, “Because physical fairs take place only in big cities, their reach and potential remains limited. The institutes are not able to connect with the students from smaller cities and towns. By leveraging technology, we aim to reduce this gap between the institutes and the students and to offer both an interactive and innovative platform where they can interact with each other while saving cost and time. Moreover, why waste time on traveling when you can avail the same benefits from the comfort of your own desk”.
